Rosalia
Rosalia Vila or Rosalia (Spanish meaning "Rosalia") Rosalia Vila (Spanish for "Rosalia") is an Spanish singer and songwriter from Spain. She is a Flamenco and Pop artist. Involved in the margins of popular and traditional music since her teens she also delves into other styles like hip-hop soul and trap. Pepe Habichuela, a flamenco guitar player with a lot of talent, describes her voice saying that it was sweet and had an old-fashioned bite. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her the Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and her follow-up album in 2018. El Mal Querer was a major critical and commercial breakthrough making it to the top of Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and finally receiving a Grammy. In 2021, her song La Fama with The Weeknd came out. Motomami included songwriting collaborations with many artists including Cory Henry, James Blake and others. It was released in 2022 as a result of an appearance on Saturday Night Live appearance by Rosalia, the vocalist of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was first Spanish singer who performed on her own in the show. Motomami, Rosalia's album that won three Latin Grammy Awards also made her the first female to win the Latin Album of the Year win twice.
