Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is famous Indian actress, known for the roles she played in Hum Aapke Hai Koun. In the late 80s, she began her acting career. She became well-known for the character Tezaab, in which she starred alongside an established actor Anil Kapooor. In the following film, she was a part of Aamir as part of Dil. A middle-class family was raised in Mumbai she started learning dance at an early age. When she was in her early years as she began to perform as an actress, most films that she made weren't successful. She eventually became one of the biggest actresses of Indian films. After marriage, she experienced a break in her career before re-entering the business. Recenty, she had an important performance as a character in Gulaab Gang. The film featured the challenges faced by women across India. Dixit has received 15 Filmfare Awards nominations, of which, eight were awarded. Padma Shri - the fourth highest civilian honor in India awarded to Dixit. She is known for her work in the field of social service as well.
